Joaquim Chaves Saúde assures medical care during the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival

Portuguese health sector company supports PRYF for the tenth consecutive year

Joaquim Chaves Saúde (JCS) renewed its support for the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival (PRYF), making this its tenth consecutive year at the tournament. The Portuguese health sector company ensures, through its sports medicine specialized unit, medical care for all athletes present in the largest youth rugby tournament in Europe. JCS is also in charge of the medical center at the event visitors’ disposal.

At the 11th edition of PRYF, which will take place on April 13 and 14, at the Lisbon University Stadium - bringing together 3 000 young players from 118 teams, including 55 coming from outside Portugal – JCS will also be greeting the 15 000 visitors expected each day of the event with its nice mascot, “Joaquim”, who will distribute gifts and popcorns.

Sport is a key element in Joaquim Chaves Saúde's sponsorship strategy as a health and wellness promoting activity. Rugby is especially important as it signals the brand’s association with the values inherent to this sport: integrity, solidarity, respect and discipline. JCS also supports several athletes and clubs in other modalities, such as surfing, tennis or swimming (Sport Algés and Dafundo).
