Portugal Rugby Youth Festival 2019

Portugal Rugby Youth Festival 2020

Find out more

PRYF 2019 has come to an end

The Portugal Rugby Youth Festival is the best European rugby tournament for youth teams (clubs, schools and academies).

This event gives your team an unforgettable experience both on and off the pitch. Rugby matches against international opponents, exciting leisure time activities and great entertainment – all in Lisbon, one of Europe's most exciting cities, with its warm weather climate and white sandy beaches.

What makes this event unique, when compared to existing rugby tournaments, is the excellent standard of play, from facilities to event organization, from entertainment to accommodation options, from the high standards of security to the special experiences the city has to offer.

The tournament venue is located in the beautiful University Stadium complex in Lisbon, featuring excellent grass pitches and an emblematic and historic honour stadium.

As in previous editions, the 2019 edition featured massive participation from Portuguese clubs (63 teams) and also from squads coming from all five continents (55 teams), including formations from countries such as Spain, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, USA, Argentina, Australia, amongst others.

We’re already working on the 2020 edition of the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival. Check our festival packages and don't miss out on the opportunity to be in Portugal for the greatest rugby youth festival of the year!

We look forward to seeing your rugby team on the pitch in Lisbon, on April 4 and 5, 2020!

It's on the field that you develop admiration and respect for both your team and the opposing players. It's off the field that you build friendships that last a lifetime.
For most participants, the Portugal Rugby Youth Festival is a moment that lasts forever.

Fantastic Tournament, it’s possibly one of the best we’ve been to, if not the best one we’ve been to. It’s very well organized, everything is on time, the referees are very fair and the quality of rugby is really, really good. I’m very impressed!
It’s a very important tournament. For the players it’s a European Cup... more than that, it’s the most important tournament of the year. We hope that we can come next year, and maybe win!
What we've seen so far is fantastic, a lot of good run and rugby, which is what the “kiwi” guys like to play. The weather’s turned out perfect. We’ve just come from the UK which was very cold, so the boys got to put some shorts for training which is great. It looks like there is a very good level of rugby here.
It was marvellous, the fields are in great condition and the weather is always pretty good here! The facilities are great and the people have been very hospitable to us, we are really enjoying ourselves.
It’s fantastic, very well organized, very well run. A really world class event! Beautiful facilities and people have been great as well. We will absolutely return!
